Landrover discovery 3 2005

This has been the family car for the past 7 years or so. All usual things have been sorted since we have owned it - new air springs all round, upgraded brakes to V8 spec, Gearbox rebuilt in the last 2 years by Dartford transmissions, Thermostat housing changed, front and rear prop shafts, Range rover sport front seats, car play Nav system the list goes on. Despite the milage, the engine is super quiet having had regular oil changes using 10 40 oil rather than 5 40 recommended by Land Rover.

Various oil leaks, picked up on the MOT but not bad enough to fail. Dash has splits around the passenger airbag due to sun exposure. Drivers side sunroof drain failed - I replaced the tricky passenger one last year. Vibration on the drivetrain when she warms up.

Rust patches inside rear doors in the usual spots. Various age related dings and paint marks. Front valve block leaks a little but have a replacement ready to fit. Its a shame to let her go, but my lovely wife deserves a bit more luxury so we have replaced it with a D4.
