A genuine Lucas DLB198 ignition coil or the Powerspark equivalent. 8mm HT leads in the following colours; black, red or blue, or red 10mm performance leads. You can even choose to include the linking lead that connects the distributor to the ignition coil. A Powerspark distributor is a direct replacement for the Lucas 35DLM8 V8 distributor.This is suitable for late Rover V8s that use a Female drive gear. Late Rover V8s are engines classed as post 1976.
As many engines have been swapped or have been converted to the later front cover, it is not always easy to identify whether a Rover V8 is early or late.
